Women often feel they do not know who they are any more.  It is like their souls are crying out for some attention.  It is as though they have woken up one day and wondered “Who am I and how did I get here?” and “What do I want for the second half of my life?”

You have probably forgotten just how much you have done with your life – your accomplishments and your gifts which are so needed in the world today.  In the U.K., we say we are the “been there, done it, got the “t” shirt” kind of women.

You need to celebrate yourself and others, and also applaud those who do step out, talk authentically and are visible.

I can say that I am one of the “Been there, done that, got the “T” shirt” kind of woman.
What about you? What have you to say for yourself? Can you wear that “T” shirt?
You’ve probably forgotten (and I know from my individual and group work that you have) just how much you’ve done/accomplished in your life.  I know that you can wear that “T” shirt.  You simply need the time to re-connect with your life experience and wisdom again.  These can be passed onto others – the generations to come.  Don’t let them fall by the wayside.  Take a moment to be happy to be you – there is no one else like you – you are unique.  Allow in your admiration and respect for yourself.
It is really important that we stop and do this as the world is rife with ageism and wants us to quietly go in the sidelines.

I want to support, encourage and motivate others whose time is now.  You are at the next stage in your life.  Don’t wait and wonder “what if”, “if only” – do it now whatever it is for you don’t wait – work out the pros and cons – begin now.  Too many of us procrastinate and say “I will when ……” do it now.  Begin your homecoming to yourself.

So I am here to remind you that you still have a voice, have so much to offer and the world is waiting for you – whether you are free from your children, career, family or simply want to change direction and explore yourself and the world.

I’m saying to you – stop messing about and get on with the second part of your life – enjoy this is your time.
