Lots of questions as well as possibilities.

Are you looking forward to rolling down the hill clutching your Easter Egg?  Or going on the Easter Egg hunt in a garden or field?  Or simply watching any or all of this over the Easter Break?

What colour is your rainbow this weekend?  Can you allow them all into you life?  Remember it is you that has the choice and whatever colour you pick, will colour your view on the Easter Break.

It is fine to compromise if you want to be on your own and the outside world is calling.  You can do this as you’ll know your own values and so can compromise without causing harm to yourself or others.  You can also be aware that the world is calling to you to join it.

Take the invitation, bring in the colour and laugh, dance, play, have fun and be open to whatever comes.

No Twitter, Facebook or any Social Media – simply You relaxing and being in the world – Enjoy!! 

This is a time to celebrate your existence and for you to see that there is a “big, wide world out there” calling to be open to all the dreams and possibilities.  When you decide on your next step, you can experience the joy of self-recognition, a deep feeling of becoming who you are, of “coming home to yourself”.  You may have some regrets about the loss of opportunities that have passed you by, and are willing to acknowledge them.  Yet now is the time to pass on what you know through drawing upon your accumulated experience.  The older and wiser you become, the less invested you are personally and therefore more likely to be able to assist and mentor the creative process of others.

My work is for women who know they’ve got more to offer life.  You may not be quite sure how to express that or you may be asking yourself “what next”.   I will enable you to see what you do have rather than what you don’t have, and support you in taking that next step.

You’ve got all those skills you’ve forgotten about – if you’ve been a mother, a worker, a volunteer, a daughter, a friend, a lover …..  You have the skills so start exploring

• what ignites you now?
• what makes your heart sing?
• what turns your energy on?

Next thing is – you may feel that life is great because it is going so well and have gratitude for that, and everyone and everything in your life.  What about when it is not going so good?  Are you able to hold on to that gratitude?  If not, then simply remember that you are alive – even if you can only manage it for a few seconds – and be grateful for that.

From this place, look at yourself.  Do you see a woman moving forward or backward or even standing still?  I am not going to ask you to do anything with the picture you have, except simply to acknowledge this is where you are today.  Simply take a few deep breaths and honour yourself and your reality today.

My blogs are for women who have forgotten about themselves.  You’ve been so busy -

• being busy
• caring for others
• establishing yourself in a career
• all of the above

There’s nothing wrong with this as most do it from choice – at least some of the time.  It’s the “forgetting of ourselves” which is the cause of women settling for less.

My focus then is on women at mid-life and beyond who don’t know who they are any more, are wondering what to do with themselves, and yet are wanting to make a difference.  You know there is something missing from your life.

This is where you can be encouraged and supported by like-minded women sharing their life experiences, wisdom and have a laugh.

Someone is certainly being visible!  What a way to go!

So it could be useful to reflect on what you associate with, or what (to you) might express the idea of “the spiritual garment”. 

I find it quite fascinating as it is still in line with how we make ourselves visible in the world.

I’m so proud he has been chosen in the age category to be a member of the Great Britain team.  There is such team spirit amongst them and us supporting them.  They also have a wise woman as their team leader.

Once again, I will be waving the flag for my son, the team and everybody – being visible again.  There’s no stopping me even if the weather is to be awful.

Whatever your weather, have a great weekend by taking your courage and doing something different – have fun.

  My son, with hundreds of other men and women, is competing in a duathlon this Easter Monday. I am so proud of him and all those taking part, ranging from teenagers to seventy year olds.  They are all inspiring and I will be there to yell, shout, clap and cheer them all on.  They are making themselves visible to the world – getting the most out of life.

I hope you will also make yourself visible this Easter and cheer and clap yourself on in whatever you decide to do.  Have a good one.

CLEANING POEM

I asked the Lord to tell me why my house is such a mess

He asked if I’d been “computering” and I had to answer “Yes”.

He told me to get off my butt, and tidy up the house.

And so I started cleaning up – the smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.  That really did the trick

I was just admiring my good work, I didn’t mean to “click”.

But click, I did, and oops – I found a real absorbing site

That I got Sooo way into it – I was into it all night.

So nothing’s changed except my mouse, It’s as shiny as the sun.

I guess my house will stay a mess, while I sit here on my bum!
